Book Jens Nielson

The definitive biography of Jens Nielson.  Bishop Nielson was an early convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from Denmark.  He immigrated to Utah in 1856 and was part of the ill-fated Martin-Willy handcart company.  He eventually settled in Cedar City, Utah and continued raising his family.  In 1879, his son was called as part of a colonizing effort to settle the Four Corners area of Utah.  Jens joined the expedition and eventually became the Bishop of the Bluff Ward.
